Alcohol was worth £50

Claire Snailham, 33, of The Martindales, Clayton Brook, Chorley was given a rehabilitation activity requirement after admitting three charges of stealing alcohol and chicken.

She had six other offences taken into consideration by Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Man who smashed window

A man has admitted assaulting a woman and causing damage to a kitchen window and baby gate.

Andrew John Holden, 38, of Arley Street, Chorley, appeared before Preston Magistrates’ Court.

He was given a rehabilitation requirement.

The bench also ordered him to pay a £120 fine, £140 compensation, an £85 surcharge and £85 towards costs.

Graeme David Cuerden, 46, of Tansley Avenue, Coppull, Chorley, admits causing £1,000 damage a woman’s car and was ordered to pay a £120 fine, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 towards his prosecution costs by the bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court.

Man resists an officer

Peter Kelly, 50, of Princess Street, Bamber Bridge, Preston, admits damaging a window and resisting a PC after an incident in Lostock Hall on October 1 and must pay a £120 fine, a £30 surcharge and £85 costs.

Threatening behaviour

Stephen Naylor, 32, of Squires Wood, Fulwood, Preston, was discharged for six months after admitting using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, and must pay a £20 surcharge and £85 costs, following a disturbance on July 15 in Preston.

Drug driver is banned

William Dunn, 35, of Marlborough Road, Heysham, near Lancaster, was banned from driving for a year after admitting drug driving and must pay a £150 fine, £30 surcharge and £85 costs by magistrates.

30 weeks jail for thief
