Car tyre vandal caught

A VANDAL who slashed the tyres on three cars on a street in Bilsborrow, near Preston, has been given a curfew and must pay £420 compensation.

Connor Fearon, 19, of Worcester Avenue, Garstang, admitted possessing a knife and damaging an Alfa Romeo, Volkswagen Jetta and BMW.

Lancaster Magistrates’ Court heard he damaged cars on The Willows in an incident on May 30.

He must pay a £180 criminal courts charge.

LANCASTER: A man who smashed a chandelier in restaurant and damaged £250 of food is to be sentenced at Lancaster Magistrates’ Court on July 8.

Barry Macauley, 28, of Devonshire Road, Blackpool, admits criminal damage at Paulo Gianni’s Restaurant in Lancaster on June 1.

He admits using threatening behaviour on the same date.

GRIMSARGH: A drunk man who was found in possession of a kitchen knife has admitted being disorderly and possessing a weapon in the village on May 16.

Gary McMonagle, 24, of Creswell Avenue, Ingol, must do 200 hours unpaid work and a pay a £60 surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

PRESTON: Lee Mullen, 28, of Brackenbury Road, Preston, admits assaulting a man and damaging his scooter.

Preston magistrates imposed a curfew and ordered him to pay £75 compensation, a £60 surcharge and £150 courts charge.

PRESTON: A persistent shoplifter has been jailed for 14 weeks after admitting stealing an X-box controller and DVD set while on bail.

Gary Stock, 32, of Church Street, Preston, must pay £59.99 compensation, an £80 surcharge and a £150 courts charge.

Preston magistrates said he “went equipped” to Game in Preston.

PRESTON: A drunk man who assaulted a reveller in a pub in an unprovoked attack has been given a six week sentence, suspended for a year.

Jack Joseph Sanderson, 22, of Strand Road, Preston, admitted assault and must pay an £80 surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 court charge, Preston magistrates ruled.

CHORLEY: A man who attacked a police officer, putting him in breach of a court order, has been jailed for 16 weeks.

David Shaw, 29, of Thirlmere Road, Chorley, admitted the offence to Chorley magistrates.

John Kemp, 23, of Fylde Road, Preston, admits being drunk and disorderly and must pay a £35 fine, £20 surcharge, £85 costs and £150 court charge.

Michael Foster, 27, of Hodder Brook, Preston, admits driving without insurance and otherwise than in accordance with a licence and must pay a £110 fine, £20 surcharge, £85 costs and £150 court charge.

Sam Farrell, 27, of Lulworth Avenue, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, is banned for three years after admitting drink driving, and must pay a £110 fine, £20 surcharge, £85 costs and £150 court charge.

James Despard, 33, of Chestnut Crescent, Ribbleton, was discharged for two years after admitting being in a premises in Kirkmill, Chipping, for an unlawful purpose and must pay a £15 surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Conway, 58, of Lancaster Road North, Preston, is discharged conditionally for six months after admitting being drunk but must pay a £150 court charge.

Kyle Bruney, 27, of Fernyhalgh Grove, Fulwood, Preston, admits driving without due care and attention and must pay a £350 fine, £35 surcharge and £85 costs.

Paul O’Brien, 47, of no fixed abode, was discharged for six months after admitting stealing a Micheal Kors handbag but must pay £89.99 compensation, a £15 surcharge, and a £150 court charge.

Joseph Richardson-Eaton, 29, of Hubert Place, Lancaster, admits assault and must pay a £100 fine, and must pay a £110 fine, £20 surcharge, and £300 costs.
