Fine over property
A LANDOWNER has been fined £660 after failing to give information to South Ribble Council about the nature of his interest in land in Penwortham.
Andrew Dean Kennedy, 37, of Glenluce Drive, Preston, was found guilty in his absence of failing to comply with the requirement of a notice served on him in March regarding a property on Hawkhurst Road.
Preston magistrates ordered him to pay a £66 surcharge, and £100 costs.
PRESTON: A man who breached a harassment order by assaulting a woman in front of children has been given a 14 week jail term, suspended for 12 months.
Daniel Cross, 28, of Watling Street Road, was found guilty of assault, criminal damage and breaching the order and must pay £75 compensation, a £80 surcharge, and £100 costs.
PRESTON: Shannon Jackson, 19, of Braddon Street, Preston, was found guilty of having no insurance or licence and failing to wear headgear.
She was seen on March 30 and April 21 on a moped, Chorley magistrates heard.
She is banned for six months and must pay a £1,320 fine, £132 surcharge, and £85 costs.
PRESTON: Matthew Lakeland, 25, of Broadgate, admits breaching a non molestation order by phoning a woman and attending her home.
He was given a curfew and must pay a £60 surcharge and £180 court charge.
PRESTON: Steven Lee, 52, of Rosemary Lane, Bartle, near Preston, who is serving a jail term for doorstep trading offences, has lost his licence for 12 months after admitting speeding and failing to give a driver’s information.
The father-of-five was ordered to pay a £120 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal court charge.
PRESTON: Jitrenda Karia, 43, of Beamont Drive, Preston, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention, after an incident on Aqueduct Street, Ashton, Preston, on February 6.
Preston magistrates ruled Karia, who was in a Jaguar at the time, must pay a £440 fine, £44 surcharge, and £85 costs.
PRESTON: Declan Gorman, 22, of Moor Park Avenue, Preston, admits causing £100 damage to a woman’s front door on November 9 and will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on December 15.
Cheryl Thorpe, 36, of no fixed abode, admits being drunk and disorderly and must pay an £80 fine, £20 surcharge, and £150 court charge.
Christopher Caunce, 26, of Mendip Road, Leyland, admits driving a moto without insurance and must pay a £120 fine, a £20 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £85 costs.
Daryl-Ann Johnston, 25, of Guernsey Avenue, Buckshaw Village, admits driving without insurance and must pay a £660 fine, a £66 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £85 costs.
Deborah Hayes,45, of Tulketh Road, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, was discharged for two years after admitting stealing £95.35 of meat and must pay a £15 surcharge and a £150 court charge.
Jamie Halliwell, 24, of Avondale Road, Heysham, admits driving without a licence and must pay a £40 fine, a 20 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £85 costs.
Emma Millican, 32, of Brandiforth Street, Bamber Bridge, admits assaulting a woman and must pay £100 compensation, a £20 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £120 costs.
Mark Pollard, 46, of Fishwick Parade, Preston, admits failing to stop his cycle for a PC and must pay a £20 fine, £60 surcharge and £150 court charge.
Lisa Williams, 31, of Apple Tree Close, St Michaels, near Preston, was banned for 12 months after admitting drink driving and must pay a £120 fine, £20 surcharge, and £150 court charge.
Martin Jones, 47, of Hampton Street, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, was banned for 16 months after admitting drink driving and must pay a £120 fine, a £20 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £85 costs.
Luke Barlow, 27, of Jesson Way, Carnforth, was found guilty of driving without insurance and must pay a £660 fine, a £66 surcharge, a £150 court charge and £85 costs.
