Here are the latest court listings from across central Lancashire.

Barber shop theft

TWO trespassers who entered a city centre barber shop with intent to steal have both been jailed for a year.

Mark Turner, 29, of no fixed abode, and Damien Hough, 26, of Moore Street, Blackpool, admitted trespass after they targeted the Manique Barbers on Guild Hall Street, Preston, on September 28 this year.

The duo made off with hairdressing items and money from the property, Preston Crown Court heard.

LEYLAND: A man must keep his bulldog cross on a lead at all times after he admitted it was not under control in Farington Gate Park.

John Richardson, 43, of Boundary Street, Leyland, must muzzle and neuter his dog Cracker, after a prosecution by South Ribble Council.

He was ordered to pay £200 costs.

PRESTON: A man who stole £253 groceries from Morrisons has been ordered to have drug treatment.

Leroy Colecozy, 41, of Fylde Road, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, was banned from the store for six months by Preston Magistrates’ Court and must pay a £60 surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 court charge.

PRESTON: A woman must pay £30 compensation to a woman she assaulted.

Estelle Whalley, 41, of Hawksbury Drive, Penwortham, must also pay an £80 fine, £20 surcharge and a £150 court charge.

PRESTON: A thief who targeted the same supermarket three times must pay £143.89 compensation.

Tracy Gribben, 40, of Ripon Street, Plungington, Preston, stole items from Booths, magistrates heard.

She was given a 12 month conditional discharge but must pay a £15 surcharge and a £150 court charge.

WEETON: Neil Carter, 43, of Singleton Road, Weeton, near Preston, has admitted using threatening behaviour towards another man.

He was given a curfew by the bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court.

He must also pay a £60 surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

KIRKHAM: David Graham Brook, 52, of Poulton Street, Kirkham, admits being drunk and disorderly in Preston Railway Station and must pay a £35 fine, £20 surcharge, £45 costs and a £150 court charge.

Sylwester Turczyk, 32, of Moss Street, Lostock Hall, was given a rehabilitation activity and 270 hours unpaid work after admitting assault and damaging a phone, and must pay £845 compensation, a £60 surcharge, £450 costs and a £150 court charge.

Diana Harris, 32, of New Street, Eccleston, Chorley, admits failing to give driver information and must pay a £120 fine, a £20 surcharge, and £85 costs.

Jamie Lee Bull, 22, of Hallwood Road, Chorley, was given a rehabilitation activity after admitting assault, and must pay £60 compensation, £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

Adam Clarke, 25, of Ashfield Road, Chorley, was given a rehabilitation activity and 40 hours unpaid work after admitting damaging a door, and must pay £100 compensation,£85 costs and a £150 court charge.

Alfred Cottom, 41, of Lodge Close, Freckleton, was found guilty of failing to give driver information and must pay a £660 fine, a £66 surcharge, and £85 costs.

Douglas Stainton, 34, of Gill Lane, Chorley, was found guilty of driving while using a phone and must pay a £220 fine, a £22 surcharge, and £85 costs.

Kieron Edward Smith, 27, of Bootle Street, Preston, was discharged for three years after admitting possessing cannabis, but must pay a £15 surcharge, £85 costs and a £180 court charge.

Christopher Wilson, 23, Preston Road, Inskip, near Preston, was given a curfew and 16 month ban after admitting drink driving and must pay a £60 surcharge, £85 costs and a £150 court charge.

Bernard Johnrose, 54, of Wilbraham Street, Preston, was given a restraining order after being found guilty of assaulting a woman and must pay an £875 fine, £500 compensation, an £87 surcharge, £600 costs and a £520 court charge.
