Franklyn Johnson, 24, of no fixed abode, was jailed for 24 weeks after admitting a string of offences against a woman including damaging her property, and assaulting her in a domestic violence incident.

The bench at Preston Magistrates’ Court said custody was necessary due to the gravity of the offences.

He was given a restraining order banning contact with his victim.

He must also pay an £80 victim surcharge.
