Investigation after assault at McDonald's in Preston

An investigation has been launched after a man was assaulted at a McDonald's Preston, say police.

The incident happened at the fast-food restaurant in Friargate just before midnight on Monday, April 16.

Police say a man in his 20s suffered facial injuries and another was also assaulted.

A spokesman for the police said: "We are investigating an incident which took place at the McDonalds in Friargate.

"If you witnessed the incident please contact police."
