Four men arrested in latest Preston drugs raid

Four people have been arrested following a raid on a home in Preston last night (July 15).

The latest raid targeting suspected drug activity in the city took place in Dundonald Street, between Fishwick Parade and Fishwick View.

Preston Neighbourhood Task Force executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act after receiving information from the local community.

The force said a significant amount of Class A and B drugs have been recovered, leading to the arrest of four men on suspicion of drugs offences.

A police spokesman said: "Yesterday, your Preston Neighbourhood Task Force executed a misuse of drugs act warrant at an address on Dundonald Street, Preston.

"Four males have been arrested and a significant amount of class A and class B drugs have been recovered.

"This warrant comes as a result of information from the local community. We thank you for your support."

It is the latest in a series of raids across the city in recent weeks, with the Task Force seizing thousands of pounds worth of drugs and a number of suspects arrested.
