Four Chinese nationals who were found in three homes raided as part of a slavery probe have been arrested by Home Office Immigration Enforcement, it emerged today.
Properties on School Lane in Lostock Hall and Beech Street South in Preston were raided on Wednesday.
A 44-year-old man was found to be a failed asylum seeker while a 27-year-old woman was found to have overstayed her visa.
Another man and woman, aged 28 and 25, were found to have entered the UK illegally.
They have been ordered to report to the Home Office regularly while their cases are investigated.
The warrants formed part of national campaign Operation Eagle, which aims to highlight human trafficking and modern slavery, though officers have since said there is no evidence to suggest the addresses are linked to these kind of offences.
