Drunk driver crashes into traffic lights off motorway near Chorley
A van driver who crashed into a set of traffic lights was drunk, police say.
The driver of a white van crashed into the traffic lights at junction eight of the M61 at Chorley on Saturday afternoon.
Lancashire Road Police tweeted about the incident and said the driver was drunk at the time of the crash.
They tweeted: “Driver after being twice over the drink drive limit collides with traffic lights M61 junction 8. #team3rpu.”
