'Dangerous' trio arrested after vehicle is stopped and searched in Preston

Three males were arrested by police after a vehicle was stopped in Preston.

Police stopped and searched a vehicle in the St Matthews area of Preston

The Preston Neighbourhood Policing Team Task Force made the arrests on Saturday evening following “a proactive” stop on a vehicle in the St Matthew’s area of the city.

Preston Police reported on their Facebook page yesterday: “All 3 have been arrested for Possession with Intent to supply Class A drugs and Possession of an Offensive Weapon after a search uncovered items in the vehicle.

“The driver of the vehicle does not hold a Driving Licence or Insurance and the tyres on the vehicle were in a dangerous condition.
