Police need help finding a man who has been missing from his home in Morecambe since Friday, September 18.

Anthony Higson, 54, also known as Ant, was last seen at Morecambe Train Station after waving a relative off at 2pm that day and has not been in contact with his family since.

He had been due to attend his daughter’s wedding on Saturday, 19 September, but failed to attend. His disappearance is described as very out of character.

PC Adele Laffan from Morecambe Police said: “We are getting increasingly concerned for Mr Higson’s welfare, particularly considering that it was his daughter’s wedding that he was to attend.

“His disappearance has come out of the blue and so I ask anyone who may have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.”

Mr Higson is described as white, 6ft, slim build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a leather jacket, jeans and a t-shirt as well as carrying a blue and green Adidas holdall.
