Chorley pet store burglar is found guilty

Philip Lewis, of no fixed abode, had denied a charge of burglary, but was found guilty after a trial before Preston Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard on August 4 this year, the 45-year-old entered Brett’s Pets in Chorley and got into a communal area.

Hide AdThe bench said a custodial term was necessary due to his record, and ordered him to have treatment for drug dependency, and to pay a £128 surcharge.
