A heartless thug has been captured on CCTV after ransacking a charity’s offices.
The hoodie-wearing burglar caused damage as he searched the office of The Woodhouse, Stocks Road, Ashton, Preston on August, 12.
The wood recycling centre is part of the Integrate Preston charity and helps adults with learning disabilities gain real life experience, training and skills in a work environment.
Now a spokesman for the charity said they are disappointed that someone would target them.
They said: “It is very disappointing that people would try to steal from a charity that supports vulnerable adults to live fulfilled lives in their local community.”
Lancashire police confirmed there had been a break-in at a premises on that date.
A spokesman said the offender – who was wearing a distinctive Adidas hooded top – pulled off a panel to get into the offices, made a search causing damage and then made off.
It is not thought anything was stolen.
Police said the suspect was of medium build and they have urged anyone with any information to call 101, quoting incident 219 of the 13.
