Police are appealing for help to track down two men who are believed to have damaged washing machines at the same launderette at least three times in two weeks.
In the most recent incident on Saturday one of the men used a crowbar to prise open the payment slot of a machine in the Clean Street Launderette in Garstang Road, Preston and stole around £50.
The raid followed similar incidents at the same premises on Thursday August 20 and Monday August 31 when washing machines were forced open.
On the first occasion the raiders got away with £200, but in the second attack they left empty-handed, despite damaging the coin mechanism.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the machines being damaged on any of the three days, or knows anything which could help identify who the men are. Contact 101, or call PC Kate Jolly on 01772 209637. Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
