Two women and a man accused of neglecting residents at a former care home have made their first appearance in court.
Indranee and Meghadeven Pumbien, of Briarwood Rest Home in Lostock Hall, and employee Niphawan Berry, had their case committed to Preston Crown Court where they appear on December 22.
They face a total of 29 charges, including ill treatment relating to three men and five women, between April 2013 and June 2014.
Mr and Mrs Pumbien, 62 and 58, of Grosvenor Place, Ashton-on-Ribble, Preston, are accused of intending to pervert the course of justice.
Berry, 41, of Christ Church Street, Preston, was charged with wounding a 99-year-old.
