Police are appealing for information after an attempted burglary at a jewellers.
The incident happened at around 10.40pm on December 8 at Ernest Jones on Penny Street, Lancaster.
It is believed that at least two men approached the shop window and used a barbell to make a small hole in the glass.
The alarm was triggered and the men ran off empty handed leaving the barbell at the scene.
Officers have released CCTV images of men seen in the area, who they would like to speak to in connection with their inquiries.
PC Rebecca Rooke of Lancaster Police said: “We are keen to speak to anyone that may have been in the area at the time and witnessed what happened.”
