The silver Audi A3 was stopped by Cumbria Police by junction 41 on the M6 near Penrith at around 10am today.

The four men in the Audi were trying to drive back to Glasgow after travelling to London for a family gathering, according to the road police team.

A spokesman for Cumbria Police said all four of them were issued with tickets for breaching Covid-19 regulations.
