Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak to following an attempted burglary at a pub.

On Monday, September 7 between 9.55am and 10.10am, two men are thought to have gained access to The Swan Inn on Church Terrace, Higher Walton, using a device to slip the lock.

Officer said they made a search of the pub before being disturbed and leaving empty handed, using a silver or light blue coloured Vauxhall Vectra or Audi A4 car that was parked on Brook Street.

The men are both described as white, one of them was wearing dark clothing and the other jeans, a jacket and a baseball cap.

PC Kristian Lowe of Preston Police said: “We are keen to trace the men and the vehicle in the CCTV images and I would urge anyone with information about the incident to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
