APPEAL: Money taken from wallet left at Preston bank

Money was stolen from a wallet that was left inside a Preston bank, say police.

The theft happened at the Barclays bank on Fishergate at around 1pm on Tuesday March 14.

Police would now like to identify a man from CCTV who they believe could help them with their enquiries.

A spokesman for the police said: "We've released a CCTV image of a person we want speak to in connection with the theft of money from a wallet from inside a bank in Preston.

"The wallet we believe, had been accidentally left behind at a cash machine, inside Barclays bank on Fishergate at around 1pm on Tuesday 14th of March. "Anyone with information shold contact PC 2848 Jarosz via email: [email protected]
