APPEAL: Girl injured in Preston 'assault'

An appeal has been launched to find a passerby who may have filmed an alleged assault in Preston, say police.

The 14-year-old girl is said to have suffered facial and finger injuries in the incident which happened at around 2.45pm on Wednesday, May 16 on Curwen Street.

Police say the girl allegedly had her hair pulled and fell to the floor where she was kicked and punched.

A spokesman for Preston Police said: "We'd like to appeal to a male who we believe filmed an assault that occurred in a ginnel beside Ribbleton Lane.

"If this was you, please get in touch."
