APPEAL: Girl, 15, missing in Preston

Police have launched an appeal to find a teenage girl who has gone missing in Preston.

Officers say 15-year-old Brittany Williams who was last seen at Preston Train Station at around 2.30pm on Monday April 23.

Police say she is believed to have walked on Fishergate towards the city centre.

She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build with long, curly, dyed red hair. She was wearing a black vest top, black parka jacket and light blue jeans at the time of her disappearance, as well as carrying a large black handbag.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare and are urging anyone with information to contact police.

Sgt Richard Horton, of Lancashire Police, said: “Brittany has been missing for several hours now. “She was last seen at Preston Train Station and we want to find her as soon as possible. “If you have seen her, or someone matching her description, please get in touch.”
