Appeal after theft of medals in Preston

An appeal has been launched to trace a set of military medals that were stolen during a burglary in Preston.

Police in Preston are asking for members of the public to keep a look out for the medals and other items which were stolen during a burglary on Chain House Lane on July 12.

The Medals were awarded for services in Northern, Ireland, Iraq and Afghanistan and are marked with 25158214 followed by the name and rank of the owner.

A Michael Kors Fulton Pave silver tone bangle and A Michael Kors watch were also stolen.
