A teenage girl was sexually assaulted in Walton-le-Dale, near Preston.

Police have released an Evofit of a man they would like to speak to about the incident on Monday July 14 at 8.20am.

A 13-year-old girl was approached by a man in the Severn Drive/ Duddle Drive area. The man tried to speak to the young girl before sexually assaulting her.

The man is described as a white male, in his late 40s with short grey/white hair. He was wearing sunglasses with dark lenses, a silver stud in his left ear, a royal blue round-neck t-shirt and green or beige combat style knee length shorts.

Sgt David Herbert of Preston Police, said: “If anybody recognises this person I would urge them to come forward and contact us as soon as possible. We are keen to trace the man responsible and anyone with information should contact police.” Call 101.
