Police have signed another dispersal notice to try to tackle anti-social behaviour on Preston estates.
Inspector Paul McLernon said the latest notice had been extended to cover the Greenlands and Grange areas in Ribbleton on Bonfire Night.
Posting on Facebook yesterday, he said: “As a result of new information I have again signed a dispersal notice for the Ribbleton area.
“It has been extended to cover Greenlands and Grange estates.
“We want you all to have a fun and safe evening and that means parents taking responsibility for their children.”
The latest notice follows a large haul of fireworks being seized from an address in Moor Nook on Wednesday.
A dispersal notice was issued a fortnight ago, barring 10 children from the area following a crime spree in Waverley Park.
Another dispersal notice was issued in the same week, after officers and members of the public had fireworks thrown at them in Ribbleton and Callon.
