61-year-old man who has been missing for three days was last seen in Burnley

A 61-year-old man was last seen in Burnley town centre three days ago and police have launched an appeal to find him.

Ian Dawes, 61, of Nelson, was last seen on the morning in Burnley town centre on Monday, March 2.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, very thin with shoulder length hair and a beard.

Ian is normally seen wearing jeans and a duffel coat with a scarf.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "Police are appealing for help to trace a missing man."

Anyone who sees Ian or has any information about his whereabouts should contact police on 101 quoting log number 0518 of March 4.
