35-year-old Preston man arrested after attempted drive-by shooting in Ashton
and live on Freeview channel 276
Police say two shots were fired from a "white saloon type car" as it was being driven along Ashton Bank Way at around 8.35pm on Monday (October 12).
Following the shots, which hit a parked black Fiat 500, the vehicle made off from the scene. Officers have confirmed no one was injured.

Hide AdA 35-year old from Preston was arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms offences on Tuesday (October 13). He has since been bailed pending further enquiries until November 10.
Det Insp George Binns, from Preston Police, said: "We believe that the attack was targeted and is related to an on-going dispute between two groups of people.
"However, the offender(s) have ended up causing damage to an unrelated vehicle. Thankfully no one was injured.
"We need anyone who saw or heard what happened to come forward. Similarly, if you saw the white car involved in the area around the time of the incident, we need to speak to you."
