A MAN has been given a community order after he caused damage to two vehicles.

Ryan Paul Rolston, 18, of Charnock Avenue, Preston, pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates’ Court to causing £170 worth of damage to a Fiat 500 and £700 damage to a Vauxhall Corsa.

He must carry out unpaid work for 50 hours. Pay a total of £270 in compensation, a £20 victim surcharge and £40 costs.

His guilty plea was taken into account by the court.

Preston: A man has been made the subject of a community order after stealing power tools from another person.

Jack Thomas Newsham, 21, of Powis Road, Ashton-on-Ribble pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates’ Court. He must carry out unpaid work for 180 hours over the next year,

He also has to pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Preston: A man has been fined £200 and banned from driving for 12 months for drink driving.

Mark Robert James Smith, 30, of Boltons Croft, Salwick, pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates’ Court. The ban will be reduced if he completes a course. He must also pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Preston: A man has been fined £600 for failing to tell police who was driving a car. Scott Anderson, 29, of Miller Road, was found guilty in his absence at Preston Magistrate’s Court. He has been given six points and must pay £85 costs.

Leyland: A woman has been given a six month conditional discharge for being drunk and disorderly.

Liza Crook, 41, of Leyland Road, Lostock Hall, near Preston, pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates’ Court following the offence in March. She must be a £15 victim surcharge and £50 in costs. Her guilty plea was taken into account.

Leyland: A man has been given a 10 week sentence suspended for two years for sending an indecent or offensive message. Andrew John Crowdy, 33, of Golden Hill Lane, Leyland. 
He pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates’ Court and must pay £200 compensation and £100 costs.

Preston: A woman has been fined £135 for speeding. Marie Anthony, 44, of Bell Villas pleaded guilty at Preston Magistrates’ Court. She’s been given three points and must pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.

Allan Frederick Hodgson, 68, of Hillside Avenue, Kirkham, Preston, was fined £600 in his absence for failing to tell police who was driving a car guilty of an offence. He was also given six points and must pay a £60 surcharge and £85 in costs.

Wayne Johnson, 25, of Highfield Avenue, Lostock Hall, Preston, was fined £140 for speeding and was banned from driving, after pleading guilty. He must also pay a £20 surcharge and £85 costs.

John Kershaw, 26, of Croasdale Avenue, was fined £600 for motoring offences after being found guilty in his absence. He was banned from driving for 18 months. He must also pay a £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

Stuart Ashley, 31, of Moor Road, Croston, was fined £600 in his absence for failing to tell police who was driving a car guilty of an offence. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Hassan Majed HH AL-Mohannadi, 36, of Lawson Street, Preston, was fined £600 in his absence for failing to tell police who was driving a car guilty of an offence. He was given six points and must pay a £60 surcharge and £85.
