Couple locked in bedroom after door handle fell off
Firefighters had to pass a screwdriver through a window to help a couple who found themselves locked in a bedroom with no door handle.
One crew from Preston went to the address in Dallas Street, Preston at 3am this morning to find the couple stranded after the door handle had fallen off.
Using a ladder, one member of the crew passed a screwdriver through the window and the unlucky duo managed to pick their way to freedom.
