Concern for man missing from psychiatric hospital

Police have launched an appeal to find a man who has gone missing from a psychiatric hospital.

Anthony Casey, 42, left Guild Lodge, Whittingham Hospital, Whittingham, Preston at around 2.30pm on Tuesday, 18, August and has not been seen since.

He is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, with auburn hair that is balding.

He was last seen wearing a red and grey fleece, a black tracksuit jacket, blue Adidas shorts, white socks and trainers.

And police urged anyone with any information to get in touch.

PC Darryll McDonald from Preston Police said: “Anthony was due to return back to the hospital grounds yesterday afternoon but he has not been seen since.

“We are getting very concerned about him and I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
