A computer room caught fire at a commercial property in Preston New Road, Samlesbury, yesterday (January 5)

Four fire engines from Preston, Fulwood and Bamber Bridge rushed to the scene at around 5.50pm.

Firefighters equipped with four breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a water jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

No injuries were reported and crews were at the scene for approximately one hour and fifty minutes.
