Families queued in the centre of Preston this weekend as the Coca Cola truck visited the city.
The famous festive red truck was in the Flag Market on Saturday afternoon and into the evening, with crowds waiting for their free can of Coke and a chance to pose for photographs.
Michelle Passey, 45, from Fulwood, went along with her son to see the truck. She said: “It’s like the real start of the holidays, and it gets you into the holiday spirit.”
Fifteen-year-old Josh Lamb travelled from Blackpool with his family to see the truck, after enjoying a visit last year.
The war memorial was fenced off at the weekend following last year’s event, when cigarettes were stubbed out on the stonework and chewing gum was trodden into the newly paved areas.
