A family business is hosting a charity ball to support people with Parkinson's.

Domiciliary care provider Clarriots Care, based in Bamber Bridge, is hosting a Glitz and Glam Ball at the Best Western Leyland Hotel on April 8.All money raised will go towards Parkinson’s UK.The event includes a three-course meal and a DJ, plus a red carpet entrance with champagne and photos on arrival.James Richardson, business development manager, said: “One of our family members has Parkinson’s and so it is a cause close to our hearts.“In October 2013 we hosted a similar charity event to launch our business, and we managed to raise more than £2,000 for Parkinson’s UK.“This time around, we want it to be bigger and better, and raise as much as possible for a great charity.“Everyone is welcome to attend.
