Zak Joseph Kane, 22, of Mendip Road, Leyland, was given a six-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, by Preston magistrates for using or threatening violence. He was also ordered to pay £200 compensation for damaging a window. The offence happened on March 31.

Michael Doyle, 35, of Dunham Drive, Whittle Le Woods, was fined £40 by Preston magistrates for stealing items worth £28.73 belonging to Quality Save in Chorley. He also had to pay £30 victim surcharge and £50 court costs. The offence was committed on December 8, whilst he was under a conditional discharge.

Lisa Rowley, 40, of Dunham Drive, Whittle-le-Woods, was given a conditional discharge for 12 months for stealing items worth £28.73 belonging to Quality Save in Chorley. She also had to pay £20 victim surcharge and £50 court costs. The offence happened on December 8.

Simon Collison, 31, of Park Road, Chorley, was sent to prison for eight weeks by Preston magistrates for assaulting a police officer whilst he was on duty. He also had to pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 compensation, The offence happened in Skelmersdale on January 25.

Michael Parkinson, 41, of Hall Lane, Leyland, was fined £120 by Preston magistrates for using a mobile phone whilst driving. He also had to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. His driving record was endorsed with six points. The offence happened in Cop Lane, Penwortham, on June 12.

Jason James Forbes Wright, 31, of Wigton Avenue, Leyland, was jailed for 14 days by Preston magistrates for breaching a restraining order. The offence happened on March 19 in Leyland. He had to pay £115 victim surcharge.
