Junior football coaching sessions run every Monday night at Brownedge St Mary’s High School in Bamber Bridge.

Led by First Kick Foorball Coaching, the sessions are divided into year groups for primary school aged children.

Reception class children attend from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, years one and two can attend from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, and year three, four and five pupils can attend from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

A spokesman for Kick Football Coaching said: “There is just as much emphasis on developing key social skills like sharing, listening and taking turns as there is in fine tuning a child’s balance, agility and co-ordination.

“All of the classes are run by fully FA Qualified coaches who have been successfully CRB cleared to work with children.

“Sessions are skill-based where children will learn basic football skills and good sporting behaviour which is encouraged both on and off the pitch.”
