Casualty affected by smoke in Leyland house fire

A householder suffered smoke inhalation in a blaze at a Leyland home.

Two fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Chorley were called to a kitchen fire on Fox Lane, Leyland, shortly before 10am today.

Firefighters extinguished the pan fire and treated one person who was suffering from smoke inhalation.

The casualty was later treated by paramedics.
