Preston’s cask ale fans are in for a treat this Bank Holiday weekend as the Adelphi pub hosts a fun, four-day festival.
The Cask Marque accredited pub on Fylde Street, Preston, is to host a cask ale festival from May 1 to May 4 with up to twenty-five cask ales available to taste during the weekend.
General Manager, Ryan Aldred said: “The people of Preston are big cask ale fans, so we are looking forward to hosting another cask ale festival this Bank Holiday after five years.
“We have a fun packed weekend planned at The Adelphi with various entertainment and a brilliant selection of local ales to try, there really is something for everyone to enjoy.”
Customers can sample Moorhouse’s White Witch and Pride of Pendle as well as Kelham Island’s Pale Rider and Radar Men from the moon. The Adelphi will also host Bank Top’s Gold Differ and Flat cap ales, amongst three guest ciders and ten craft beers.
And alongside the ale festival, the pub will be hosting entertainment over the weekend, with DJ Ste-J on the decks on Friday and Saturday, an all day open mic night on Sunday from 12pm and a quiz and karaoke on Monday May from 7pm, with a charity raffle, raising money for Care for Kids.
