Generous representatives from the West Lancashire Freemasons have handed over almost £2,000 to Preston’s Space Centre to buy a vital piece of equipment.
The Provincial Grand Master Peter Connolly and John Nelson, charity group leader, visited the centre in Pedders Lane, Ashton, and presented fund raising co-ordinator Hilary Holden with a cheque for £1,827 for an advanced audio waterbed.
Peter said “We are only too happy to have helped as I know that in providing this invaluable piece of equipment it will provide comfort and support to the body especially for those who are wheelchair bound.”
Hilary said how grateful she was to West Lancashire Freemasons for their kindness.
She would also like to thank each Masonic Group that has helped the Space Centre in the past and for their continued support.
