Cars fetch millions at auction

A LANCASHIRE car collector’s impressive fleet of motors have sold for millions at auction.

Gordon Willey’s collection of 12 rare cars sold for £3.6 at the world-famous Bonhams auction house.

The multi-million-pound collection, which was based in Ormskirk, included seven Bentleys, plus several rare, pre-war motor cars, such as the ex-Billy Cotton 1938 Frazer-Nash BMW 328 Roadster, sold for £617,500 and the 1964 Aston Martin DB5 Sports Saloon, sold for £516,700.
