A car was pushed 300 metres along a motorway after being clipped by a lorry.
It happened at around 5pm on Friday night on the M6 southbound, just before junction 31.
Graham Curry of the North West Ambulance Service described what happened as “really quite incredible”.
He said: “The truck clipped the small blue car but could not see it.
“It continued to drive for around 300 metres.
“The truck driver could not see the car. He pushed it along the M6 and pulled over when he found it difficult to steer.
“The driver and the passenger managed to get out of their car once the truck had stopped.
“The ambulance paramedic examined both passengers who were both in shock but not injured.”
