Car overturns on country lane
One person escaped with what are believed to be only minor injuries after a car overturned and smashed into a lamp post.
The collision happened around 1.30am today on Alston Lane near Longridge.
A fire crew and paramedics attended the scene and the casualty was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital.
A spokesman at Preston Fire Station said: “A Ford Fiesta had overturned and collided with a lamp post.
“There was only one casualty and we think their injuries were only minor.”
