Car on fire off Preston New Road
Firefighters were called to a car on fire at the side of a road last night.
Fire crews from Penwortham and Preston were called to reports of a car crash on Preston New Road, Clifton, at 6.37pm yesterday.
When they arrived they found the incident actually involved a vehicle which was on fire off the side of the road.
Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hose reel.
