Defiant neighbours today vowed “the fight will go on” after plans to frack near their homes moved a huge step forward.
County Hall planners yesterday recommended the go-ahead for a drilling site off Preston New Road, near Little Plumpton.
But they also recommended a bid at a second site in Roseacre should be refused.
County councillors will decide on both plans next week.
And neighbours living close to the Little Plumpton today promised to fight to the end.
Patricia Davies, group chairman of the Preston New Road Action Group, said: “People do not want this.
“There are many, many issues to consider. The fight is far from over.”
