Junior football players have raised £2,000 to be split between two charities.

Members of Cadley FC embarked on a mammoth fund-raising drive for their international tournament in Portugal tour earlier this year.
In doing so, they also raised £2,000 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and the Space Centre in Preston.
Dave Whitworth, Cadley Whites U13 manager, said: “Through lots of planning and hard work fund-raising over the past two years we achieved our goal and managed to raise £1,000 for each of the charities.
“The boys managed a fantastic third place in the tournament that was held inside the Benfica FC stadium in Lisbon.
“We are very proud to have helped two charities that rely on donations. Many thanks to everyone involved in the fund-raising.”
