One of the region’s longest-established law firms is to welcome a new partner and two new solicitors as part of its growth plans.
Corporate law specialist Jennifer Grabowski, who has been with Oglethorpe, Sturton and Gillibrand for three years, takes up the role of partner at the Lancaster practice.
Solicitor Helen Sutton joins the firm’s Family Department and Mark Hutchinson-Lyons also joins the firm, as a solicitor in the Wills and Estate Planning department.
Managing partner David Gillibrand said: “We are delighted to announce these appointments, which form an important part of our plans for growth across the firm as a whole.
“Since her arrival Jennifer has brought to the firm a wealth of specialist knowledge which is unique to Lancaster and allows us to offer our business clients the very best advice when they are taking important steps for the future of their business. Helen and Mark both join teams that are an integral part of the service we provide to private individuals.”
Jennifer joined OSG in 2011 from roles at international firm White & Case in London and Osborne Clarke in the Thames Valley, having advised on a wide range of corporate transactions for UK and international clients.
Helen joins the firm’s family and matrimonial department. With more than 30 years’ experience advising clients, she is an accredited specialist in resolving financial provision and children matters with Resolution, the professional organisation committed to a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law.
Mark, a Lancaster University graduate and former paralegal, rejoins the firm after a seven year absence in which he qualified as a solicitor.
