A Preston-based electrical firm is celebrating after picking up a national award for its electrical testing services.
Lantei Compliance Services picked up the ‘National Contractor of the Year’ award at the 2017 Electrical Industry Awards.
The Essex Street-based business fought off tough competition from competitors in their industry to receive the accolade at the Royal Garden Hotel in London last week.
Lantei Compliance Services CEO Anthony Smith was delighted to pick up the prize.
He said: “We are extremely proud win such a prestigious award in our industry. There has been more entries than ever before, it’s a fantastic achievement.”
Local businesses such as Graham and Brown already use Lantei for their electrical services.
The electrical compliance contractor displayed second to none customer service expertise, exceptional innovation in business and a strong commitment to employee development.
Earleir this year, Lantei Compliance Services passed a crucial hurdle in becoming a nationwide NHS supplier.
The group won a competitive tender process to become a supplier on the NHS Shared Business Services Lot 16 Fixed Wire Testing, part of the Hard Facilities Management framework.
The framework will run for two years, with an option to extend for a further two-year period.
All UK based NHS owned properties will be able to access the framework, which demonstrates the potential scope of the fixed wire testing work to be carried out in the estate.
The tender evaluation team said they were extremely satisfied with the quality of Lantei’s tender, how it demonstrated service and experience within the healthcare sector.
