The National Farmer’s Union has two new fresh faces at the helm of their Preston offices.
New Senior Group Secretary, Jo Oliver, and her assistant Martin Partington take over the successful agency at the beginning of April.
They succeed George Robinson and Paul Martland who have been the faces of the NFU in the Preston patch for the last 30 years.
Jo said: “The Preston group has potential to continue developing and building on the longevity of our predecessors, which is what initially attracted me to this opportunity.
“Like Martin, I’m looking forward to meeting our members and understanding what we can do to support them, both now and in the future.”
Joining Jo is Martin Partington from Wigan.
Martin studied agriculture at Myerscough College before going on to milk cows for estate owners including Lord Cavendish.
He said: “This is something of a career change for me.
“I’m looking forward to getting out and about onto farms to meet the members, many of whom will already know me.”
