Residents are reminded that plans showing the heart of a new satellite village in Preston are to go on show in Ingol this month.
Cottam Hall Properties, the developer behind the £80 million housing and retail site at Cottam Brickworks is to host a public consultation.
Responding to the city council’s desire to have a district centre located at the Brickworks site, the developer will showcase its revised plans on January 15 at St Margaret’s Church, off Tag Lane, Ingol from noon to 8pm.
The 28 acre site currently has planning permission for a supermarket, 206 residential units, a pub/restaurant, as well as retail and commercial uses.
The new outline proposal adds further amenities including other shops, a larger pub/restaurant, a cafe and other facilities, grouped around the supermarket to serve the local communities more comprehensively than the existing approval.
