A new website has been launched as a one-stop-shop for business in South Ribble.
The site is designed for both existing and new businesses interested in investing in the growing local economy.
The new website offers a place to find everything they need to know about working, living, learning and relaxing in the borough.
In the past 12 months the council has welcomed a huge Waitrose distribution centre to the area, North West Projects to the Matrix Park in Buckshaw Village and Dr Oetker has expanded their operations on site in Leyland, creating more new jobs.
The launch of the new website aims to offer a whole range of resources for businesses, all available at the click of a few buttons.
Whether it’s finding the right location to relocate or expand a business, sourcing skilled individuals or opportunities for study, rules around business regulations and links to business support – the new website has it all.
The online commercial property search facility will also allow individuals to sign up and search for premises that fit specific criteria.
The site will also keep businesses up-to-date with all the latest news from across the borough and a whole host of free to access resources.
South Ribble Council’s cabinet member for regeneration, leisure and healthy communities, Coun Phil Smith, said: “Working with our partners in South Ribble we want to make sure that we provide the right services and conditions to help every business thrive. This new website is a brilliant resource for anyone already doing business in the borough or perhaps thinking about setting up a business here in the future.”
