A Lancashire care company has won an award for its commitment to excellence.
SureCare Preston and South Ribble received the Excellence Award at the company’s Annual Conference and Gala Dinner, held at the Chester DoubleTree Hotel.
Jimmy Anyon, training and development manager with SureCare Preston and South Ribble, received the award from the company’s managing director Gary Farrer.
Presenting the award, Mr Farrer said: “The franchise may not be the largest provider of care in our network, but it is one of the best in relation to quality.
“Their passion for compliance, quality and training is exceptional.
“They are always striving to find innovative ways to maintain the never ending demand for reports, reviews and documentation.
The franchise even challenged the Care Quality Commission for paperless systems, replacing with modern technology.”
Last year, SureCare Preston and South Ribble won a prestigious award for its commitment to improving the lives of people affected by dementia.
TV presenter Esther Rantzen presented Jimmy with the Dementia Initiative Award, organised by the Lancashire Workforce Development Partnership and funded by Lancashire County Council.
SureCare Preston and South Ribble provides clients with personal care and support and home services.
Gary Farrer added: “Jimmy and his team in Preston display a level of commitment to training and developing their workforce that ensures they maintain the highest possible standards of care.”
SureCare, which was founded in 1994, operates a network of more than 30 franchises and branches across the UK.
