A recruitment firm based in Manchester has opened new offices in Chorley.
Senior executive recruitment firm the Rowan Group has also appointed Carl Meyler as Associate Director.
The company, which already operates from premises in Spinningfields and Didsbury, has made the £60,000 investment as it looks to expand across Lancashire, primarily recruiting at newly qualified ACA, ACCA and CIMA accountants through to Financial Controller roles for its Rowan Finance division.
With more than 15 years recruitment experience, most recently as Manager with RK Finance and RK Consultancy, Carl will be responsible for spearheading regional growth, building on a successful career which has seen him gain valuable experience across the North West with ambitious SMEs.
The business was founded in 2011 by Richard Robinson, ex-Board Member of the Michael Page Group, David Anwyl and Paul Waite. All three were key shareholders who oversaw the growth and sale of the 3i backed RK Group in 2008. The Rowan Group is an investee company of EV Group, one of the UK’s leading venture capital providers.
Paul Waite, Director at Rowan Finance, said: “The business has successfully operated from a Manchester base since its inception, but as revenues and appointment numbers rise and our professional reputation strengthens we must build on our regional presence.
“Lancashire is a natural choice as the growth currently being witnessed within the region ties perfectly with Carl’s experience, both in terms of geographical business knowledge and financial recruitment expertise. This is yet another step to achieving our £1m turnover goal this financial year.”
